Was born in 1973 in the city of Novokuznetsk (Russia, Western Siberia). 1973 my parents moved to St. Petersburg (Russia). I still live in this city. Educated at the St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts, specializing in "Director of Cinema and Video Programs". I'm engaged in video art and digital art. Participated in many Russian festivals.

What is your inspirational source?

The push to work can serve anything (book, music, film), but most often the inspiration comes during the creation of the work, from where the ideas are taken I do not understand, as one science fiction writer said: "If I knew where the ideas come from, I would have taken more ... "

How do you envision future technologies and how will they affect your work?

With the development of new technologies, the created virtual world will look more realistic, and there may be a danger of erasing the boundary between reality and the virtual world, I think common sense will win and this will not happen.

We daresay that new media will soon fill the apparent dichotomy between art and technology, to assimilate one to each other: what's your opinion about the relationship between Art production and Technology?

I think that classical art will remain as a kind, I regard the relationship between art and technology as inevitable, this is a separate new direction and it has the right to exist and it will develop. History must continue.

 

There are always new software technologies. How do you learn to use them?

I am always glad for innovations and I am ready to integrate them into my experience. It's refreshing.

 

What do you consider to be critical aspects for the success of a digital work?

Understanding and feeling of completion (sometimes it's deceptive) as in any work.

 

How do social networks influence your work?
